Lauren McNees and her sister-in-law Karen Bronkema both own Wilderness Expressions.  The staff is made up of family members and family friends.  Lauren and Karen wanted to bring the rustic experience to West Michigan.   The love of visiting cottages in the north of Michigan and the beautiful furniture and decor that came along with them was an inspiration for this business. They wanted to give a more urban city the chance to have these beautiful additons to their homes as well, or perhaps buy them for a family cabin or a friends getaway.  Trying to bring a bit of a more local feel to the community, they made their business half coffee shop to welcome customers with a more personal experience.  Stop by to say 'hi' and look around!
